Our take
I chose the Ventus Black in 7X for my driver. The extra stiff flex and low launch/spin profile really tightened my dispersion. The high kickpoint gives a penetrating ball flight. The TaylorMade tip fit perfectly. At $119.95, it's pricier but the performance is noticeable. The only downside is that it's non-Velocore, so you miss out on that technology, but for many it's still a great shaft. Made in Japan adds to the quality feel.
